Mathieu Rectal Speculum

Barr Anal Retractor self-retaining, blades 2-3/4" deep x 7/8" wide (7.0 cm x 2.2 cm), 8" (20.3 cm) Barr Anal Retractor is designed with self-retaining blades that can be inserted into the anus and opened up to 3" for surgical procedures in the lower rectum or anus. The perpendicular ring handles allow for greater control and precise widening of the blades.

Hirschmann Rectal Speculum Hirschman Rectal Speculum features an anoscope at the end of a handle for insertion into the anus. The speculum is inserted a few inches to examine the anal canal for issues such as hemorrhoids, anal fissures, etc. The instrument is available in various sizes to accommodate a wide range of cases.

Pratt Rectal Speculum 1" x 3-3/8" (2.5 cm x 8.6 cm), 8-1/2" (21.0 cm) Pratt Rectal Speculum features two blades that form a tapering hollow cylinder. The spring handles allow the instrument to be opened to the desired amount and the screw mechanism locks it in place. The wider external portion allows the operator to examine the lower rectum and anus.

Rectal Snares insulated, for electro-coagulation, bayonet shape Rectal Snares are ideal for treatment of polyps or abnormal growths in the lower pelvic colon out of the reach of fingers. The snare is designed in in a bayonet shape with strong handles allowing of optimal viewing of the proctoscopic field. The attached cannula is insulated for electrocoagulation treatment. The snare features a wire loop at the distal end for encompassing and treating various sizes of growths. The snares are available in different lengths to accommodate a wide range of cases.
