This clamps are designed for neonatal use and as much are much smaller than their traditional counterpart but are equally effective. This multipurpose clamp is designed with curved shanks as well as long thing calibrated jaws coupled with horizontal serrations. Additionally, this instrument is available at varying angles and as a multi purpose or partially occluding clamp making it easy to find a perfect fit for any surgical procedure.

This instrument is designed to clamp vessels to reduce or completely block blood flow during surgery to allow the procedure to continue in a certain anatomical location where the blood is no longer able to flow through. The scissor grip handles and the ratcheting mechanism for keeping the clamp in place allows for this clamp to stay securely in place through the surgical procedure but is gentle enough to keep from injuring the vessel walls.

Cooley Pediatric Clamp delicate clamp, jaws calibrated at 5.0 mm intervals, 5-1/2" (14.0 cm) Cooley Pediatric Clamp is ideally suited for clamping in cardiothoracic surgical procedures with pediatric patients. This clamp features jaws that are calibrated at 5.0 mm intervals but are still delicate enough for use in pediatric surgeries. This instrument is designed to keep a firm hold on the vessels that are being occluded but delicate enough not to bruise or tear the vessels thus reducing the amount of damage done to the patient. This clamp is available in a number of different styles that include straight or angled shanks and straight, satinsky, angled, or spoon-shaped jaws making this instrument highly versatile and useful in the operating room.
